Campaign Finance
"I believe that one should be able to pledge and contribute their life, fortune and sacred honor to the cause of liberty. The campaign finance laws do not work, like most government prohibitions. All they do is help those in power to remain in power. The corrupt two major parties allow each other to get away with their transgressions anyway--sort of a quid pro quo. Meanwhile, the little freedom seekers like myself have to jump through all kinds of bureaucratic red tape just because we raise over five thousand dollars, while an incumbent can get tens of thousands of dollars of free mailings to the constituencies for self promotion. No thanks! No more five-year plans to reform anything. Let individuals contribute whatever they want."
